Our Book Conservation workshops are designed for members who are currently involved in a local book conservation project. We run these workshops twice a year, and they are available exclusively to Arts Society members. Please note that places are limited to volunteers actively participating in Heritage Volunteering Book Conservation projects.

Rather than a traditional "how to" on team (committee) recruitment, these workshops enable Societies to come together and share experiences, ideas and advice on any successes or experiences they've had in recruitment members into their committee or team. Open to any Role or Member involved, please bring any questions, concerns, or advice you might have.

This session will focus on answering your questions, sharing best practices, and exploring ways to create engaging and inspiring programmes. You’ll also have the chance to connect with others in the same role and learn about the resources and support available to you.

The Induction Course for New Society Chairs is an essential step for anyone taking on this important role. ​ During this session, you will have the opportunity to meet other incoming Chairs from across our Societies, while also covering the key aspects of your new role, risk assessment, and the support available to you.
