Book Conservation Workshop

Our Book Conservation workshops are designed for members who are currently involved in a local book conservation project. The organisation you are volunteering with will usually have provided initial training; however, if you joined the project later or were unable to attend that session, this workshop is intended to help you catch up.
We run these workshops twice a year, and they are available exclusively to Arts Society members. Please note that places are limited to volunteers actively participating in Heritage Volunteering Book Conservation projects.

Workshops take place in person in London at:The Art Workers’ Guild
6 Queen Square
London
WC1N 3AT
The session runs from 11:00am to approximately 3:30pm, with arrival from 10:30am. Lunch is provided, so please inform us of any dietary requirements in advance. Travel costs are covered by your Society. We provide pencils, but please bring along an old book to work on during the session.
